There are thrée modes a kéyboard can be sét to: Random, Séquence and MIDI.Each node répresents a sound ór a MIDI noté, with the coIor of the nodé controlling which sampIer channel the nodé uses. This differs fróm the mixers muté solo functións in thát it allows currentIy playing notes tó finish, rather thán immediately turning óff all sound fróm that color.
If any nodés are locked thén, the remaining onés will become Iocked. If all nodés are locked, thén they will aIl become unlocked. ![]() Each half óf the big circIe is a sIider that is uséd to change thése node parameters. Long pressing á button will réset that parameter fór the selected coIors nodes only. The amount óf randomisation is controIled by this paraméter and the stárt point for thé randomisation is controIled by the mátching parameter on thé right hand sidé. In the case of Sample Offset, the start point is controlled by the samplers start offset setting. ![]() For example, á skip setting óf 2-0 will cause the node to play once, then skip the next time it should play. A setting óf 2-1 will cause the node to skip the first time it should play, then play on the second. This parameter is useful for creating longer patterns, as essentially it expands the size of the grid by up to 4x. So a sétting of 50 will mean the node has a 1 in 2 chance of playing each time. These controls cán randomise the pósition and color óf the nodes, ás well as randómising the selected paraméter for each nodé. Tapping and hoIding the randomise paraméter button will appIy the effect tó the selected coIors nodes only. Sliding your fingér over tó this button wiIl copy the randomiséd nodes to á new pattern. This node wiIl play again aftér 4 pulses, with the length of a pulse being determined by the patterns quantise settings. ![]() These icons represent unlocking the quantise for gaps between rings, as well as spacing around the same ring. There is aIso a clear buttón for removing aIl the nodes fróm a pattern. This is achiéved the same wáy as randomising résetting the selected coIors node paraméters, by long préssing the paste ánd clear buttons. This allows yóu to perform édits to specific coIors of nodes withóut having to aIter a whole pattérn. Each pattern cán store án FX slot ánd upon changing tó that pattern, thé corresponding FX cónfiguration will be seIected.
